Instructor – Faculty of Massage Therapy (Part-Time)

Reporting to:  Academic Coordinator
Scheduled Shifts: Varying shifts Monday to Friday

Elmcrest College is currently seeking Part-Time Instructors for the Faculty of Massage Therapy for courses beginning January 2010. Applicants must be Registered Massage Therapists in good standing with the CMTO and possess a minimum of 2 years practical work experience as an RMT. Preference will be given to applicants with previous teaching experience. Courses available include Student Clinic, Outreach, and Massage Treatments. Admissions Officer

Reporting to: Marketing Manager
Scheduled Shifts: Varying shifts Monday to Friday with available flexibility for weekend events
Work Location: 1200 Lawrence Avenue West, North York Campus

The main responsibility of this position is to promote and sell the programs offered at Elmcrest College to prospective students by identifying the appropriate programs to meet the prospect's individual career goals. The admissions officer is responsible for pursuing potential enrollment leads, responding to and tracking all inquiries from prospective students on all programs, providing counseling to confirm individual employment goals and to identify the appropriate programs to meet these goals. Admission Officers are also responsible for representing the College at various career fairs, universities and high schools across Ontario. Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent with post-secondary education, a minimum of 2 years experience in an educational environment (preferably in a recruitment capacity)and intermediate computer skills in application-oriented software including: MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point).
