Welcome to the Faculty of Massage Therapy

Elmcrest College has been training individuals for new careers in the Massage Therapy field since 1999.

At Elmcrest we emphasize the development of theoretical knowledge, practical experience and technical skills. Our maximum class size of 24 students allows for individual and personal attention, and we endeavour to make learning a positive and successful experience.

Our primary goal is to graduate competent professional massage therapists that are able to successfully pass the certification exam at the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO). Our graduating classes of 2000, 2001 & 2002 achieved an outstanding 100% success rate at these provincial examinations. Our pass rate for 2003 was 96%, 80% in 2004 and 84% in 2005. Our June 2006 Graduates have continued Elmcrest’s history of success with an outstanding 100% success rate.

This dynamic educational program challenges students to acquire the necessary knowledge, competencies, and techniques of the massage therapy profession, and to aspire to higher ambitions of self-awareness, compassion, and service.
