Admissions – Frequently Asked Questions

How long is the Spa Management program?

  • Classes are held Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and begin in September and March. The program is a full-time 10-month program.

What are the admission requirements and prerequisites?

  • A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent. Preference is given to individuals with post secondary education. Previous work experience in business or a supervisory role is highly recommended.

What if I don't have the requirements?

Prospective students who do not meet the admission requirements will be considered for admittance into the program if they have relevant work experience.

What teaching methods are used to teach the program?

The Spa Management program utilizes a number of teaching methodologies including lecture, individual and group assignments, field trips and team presentations. The amount of material covered and the pace of the program demands a high attendance rate from the student to achieve success.   

When should I submit my application?

As soon as possible. Applications are accepted throughout the year and processed on a first-come, first-serve basis. Space is limited to 20 students per class, so early enrollment is highly recommended.

What are the deadlines?

There are no specific deadlines. Please contact admissions for the upcoming program schedules. It is advisable to apply early to ensure your space. Applications are reviewed as they are received and available spaces are assigned as students are accepted.

How many students are there in a class?

The maximum number of students in a class is 20.
